Vintage 20s ladies chemise slip with fancy ribbon and handmade lace trim. This beautiful chemise is living art... it is strikingly beautiful with the deep ivory charmeuse silk, and the ribbon work and lace combinations.
Condition:
Fair to good vintage condition; There is a tear to the silk of the chemise; the silk fabric is weak throughout. This is a great reference piece for study; it is not wearable. Fantastic handmade lace trim is excellent; Entredeaux, and elaborate ribbon work. the lace work actually has tiny diamond shape trapunto work around lace flowers. It is very beautiful and strong.
