Possibility of rayon with /cotton fabrication in the backing. It was available at the time of manufacture and was used in some batches.
The pile is silk.
Measures 19" wide from selvage to selvage

Condition notes:
This piece of velvet was never bolted so it was folded in a box for many years. I have rolled it so some of the folds are releasing, but it does have fold marks and will need a steaming. Fold marks sometimes come out completely but not always. I can't guarantee this. Sold AS IS
