Early 19C Antique mens waistcoat C 1820 white ribbed cotton XS

This waistcoat or vest as we would call it today is from the early 19C.
This one is entirely hand stitched. The stitches are so little and tiny that I do wonder if they in fact did their tailoring under a magnifier.
The waistcoat is fashioned of a ribbed cotton, with a white linen lining and back. There are 4 places on the back where the twill ties were once attached. They are no longer present just bits of them still sewn onto the vest back. The vest has the name Daniel E Burnap stamped inside. The closure on this waistcoat is a front button closure. All of the buttons are tiny covered buttons.

Condition: There is 1 pinhole that I can see. There is some surface dirt and water staining. I have not cleaned this piece. It is so old and rare I want to leave that to the new owner. It is in very good antique condition, and wearable if you wish.

Color: Cream

Content: cotton, linen

Age: Early 19th Century circa 1820
