Vintage 1940s World War II era lace nightgown is fashioned of rayon and nylon lingerie lace. This is a piece with a striking fitted design to flatter the figure. The bust area is ruched and the gown itself is bias cut. It lays beautifully. There is no brand tag, but the size tag reads Rayon, 34. Its has a nice silk ribbon trim in the front. Condition is excellent to age. There are no flaws. I have not laundered this piece as I realize the most collectors do have their own preferences.
